About Us

France and San Diego’s biotechnology industries face similar challenges but their respective growths rely on very different strenghs:

  • France possesses world-class pharmaceutical and chemical scientists coupled with some of the most advanced clinical trial facilities worldwide.
  • San Diego’s tightly-connect network of angel investors, research institutions, incubators and biotech firms makes it arguably the best place to start a biotech company in the world.

French BioBeach started in 2006 as a combined effort of the Economic Department of the French Embassy & GEN2X LLC. The goal is to foster academic and business partnerships between San Diego’s entrepreneurial spirit and France’s expertise in the life sciences.
