San Diego County business groups teaming up

Three of San Diego County’s largest business organizations are joining forces to create a more united front on issues facing the region.

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corp. (EDC) and Connect, a group that promotes the development of technology firms, are creating a loose alliance that will include periodic meetings between the heads of the organizations, EDC Chairman Bill Geppert announced at his group’s annual meeting Monday night.
